Education Welfare Service

“The Devon Education Welfare Service provides an extensive network of services to children, parents/carers and schools. We carry out a number of statutory functions for the Local Authority (LA) particularly in the areas of school attendance and the regulation of child employment as well as the licensing of children in entertainment, modelling and paid sporting activities.”
